Before:
Web site visitors want instant gratification when surfing the Web. CURE's Web site didn't offer enough information on the home page to entice visitors to explore the rest of the site. A background image decreased readability, the images were not representative of CURE's full geographic scope, and the colors and logo were not consistent with CURE's other marketing materials.
Angela Shears, Director of Communications for CURE, knew that it was time for a Web site redesign and contacted NuRelm. "The original site...was cumbersome for visitors to dig for information. As more people are turning to the Web for news, information and entertainment, sites...have to offer some of each quickly and in a format easily accessible and readable," Angela explained.
"NuRelm's staff have been very helpful in
every way, and I appreciate their friendly and
expert assistance. The Web site editing/updating
process is very manageable and affords instant
changes in text and/or photos. This feature is
especially important to keep the site up-to-date."

After:
Pictured above is CURE's redesigned Web site. According to Angela, the site now includes an easier navigation scheme, allowing site visitors to find the information they need quickly. The home page's three-column format showcases neatly organized information that grabs attention and is easier to read.
To emphasize this fact, Angela noted that she recently received an e-mail from one of CURE's Web site visitors, thanking her for the information he was able to find on the Web site. The father used the site to locate a hospital where his son will now receive treatment.
The design for CURE's new Web site also includes images of the children they serve, all of which can be updated quickly and easily. Incorporating these images into the design gives visitors a strong first impression of CURE and is consistent with the organization's other marketing materials.
Thanks to a redesigned Web site, CURE expects to receive additional inquiries regarding its mission and volunteer and employment opportunities, while building important donor relationships.
