NuContent is a browser-independent content management software package that will work with virtually any Web browser. To use NuContent's rich-text editor, Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Mozilla 1.4 or higher, or Mozilla FireFox 1.0 or higher is required on either a PC or a MAC. No other function requires a specific browser.
NuContent publishes Web pages to standard HTML, so the pages are publically viewable by visitors on any standard Web browser.
Yes! NuContent has been used to manage 508-compliant Web sites! NuRelm has kept this standard in mind while developing its software.
We've tested NuContent on a wide variety of platforms with many different configurations, with very few problems caused by other software packages installed on that particular system. On very rare occasions, anti-virus software such as Norton Internet Security may prohibit some functions of NuContent and should be disabled while editing if any problems arise. Also, some advanced features utilize pop-up windows which may be blocked by pop-up blockers. We recommend disabling pop-up blockers for your Web site.
Yes! NuContent is built on industry standards and will work with virtually any server operating system, database, and Web server. If you are interested in hosting NuContent on your own server, please contact us for information about server licenses at 1.877.268.7356.
All file types can be uploaded to your Web site using NuContent.
You may upload JPEG and GIF images to your Web site with NuContent. Other image types can be uploaded as files, but since most standard Web browsers only display JPEG and GIF images, your images must be in either one of those formats.
Yes! You can upload any type of file to your Web site using NuContent.
Yes! You can copy and paste text from any application that supports simple clipboard operations.
Yes! You can easily define viewing restrictions for any page on your site using NuContent. As with all other functions, this process has been made easy - no technical knowledge required!
Customer Web sites are automatically updated when a new release of NuContent is made available when hosted with NuRelm. For those who install NuContent on their own servers, we offer maintenance contracts that come with free upgrades.
Yes! For a small setup fee (fee is determined based on the complexity of the Web site), we will seamlessly integrate NuContent into your Web site. NuContent does NOT place any restrictions on Web designers, so it can be integrated into ANY design.
